Reduction in annual program and claim management overhead.
Seamlessly reviewed and managed across 870+ organizations.
Driving responsible management of Canadian farmland.
Hundreds of farmers were navigating complex federal requirements. Staff were drowning in a "back-and-forth" cycle of emails, missing documents, and manual tracking. With ever-changing policy rules, the risk was both administrative and in business continuity. The organization needed a way to move faster without sacrificing security or data integrity.
We didn't just dive into development; we started with a Discovery Sprint.
The challenge became clear when we mapped the existing chaos and identified that the bottlenecks were around data entry and communication.
By documenting the key touchpoints along the process, we moved from "how do we store this data?" to "how do we grow trust between the farmer and the reviewer at scale"?
project focus
Identifying the risks to business continuity and designing a solution that addresses them directly.
Planning how to transition staff from manual and outdated processes to efficient digital-first workflows.
Identifying the existing architecture and information structure, then designing a stack that can handle the requirements.
key feature
Handling government ID and banking details requires more than just a password. We implemented Recaptcha, Azure-backed security protocols, and multiple layers of encryption to ensure every byte of farmer data is encrypted and audit-ready.
We worked with the CFGA team to design and develop "Impact", a multi-tenant, web-based claim management system. More than just a new tool in their toolkit - the Impact platform was built through a collaborative effort that replaced over half of CFGA's manual processes.
Accessible and clear registration simplifies the application process for farmers and improves submissions.
Clear progression through each application phase reduces the time per case and case completion rate.
Eliminated 90% of external email chains by keeping communication inside the claim.
Granular permission profiles are tailored to each type of user - allowing the right level of access to each role.
Allowing farmers to pinpoint the exact land areas for their claims with geographic accuracy.
Moved claims from "Submitted" to "Approved" in record time with an efficient management features.

CFGA simplified their case workflow and reduced their yearly overhead - all while giving farmers a better experience. The new platform allowed for improved co-ordination between all parties, reducing frustration, improving the claim success rate, and directly impacting thousands of hectares of land.
Manual "back-and-forth" email chains.
Physical paper trails and manual filing.
High administrative overhead ($200k+).
Opaque application status.
Built-in commenting for real-time clarity.
Digital signing and cloud-based auditing.
Automated workflows that reallocate staff time.
Live progress tracking for every farmer.
By automating the most grueling parts of claim management, CFGA shifted from being 'paperwork-chasers' to 'impact-makers.'
They now have solid infrastructure to stay on top of their workload, which can adapt as needed to regulatory changes.
